Mantra Esplanade – Hotel near airport in Cairns

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the rooms, although a bit dated, were cozy and functional. However, there could be more information provided about the facilities. Overall, a great spot for a holiday in Cairns, with some minor room for improvement.

The hotel room exceeded our expectations, offering a quiet space with a fantastic view from the balcony. However, the noise from the street and lack of soundproofing were noticeable downsides. The room's location at the end of a long corridor provided privacy but also meant a longer walk. Service was excellent, with a friendly and accommodating staff. The location was superb, right across from the Lagoon and surrounded by convenient amenities. Dining options nearby were varied, but a lack of on-site breakfast services was a drawback.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were decent but not exceptional considering the price; however, they were clean, of a good size, and had all the basics I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my 5-night stay enjoyable. The location was fantastic, right on the esplanade with easy access to everything, although the bed was a bit too hard for my liking. The dining options were limited, with only a cafe downstairs available, but the service was kind and helpful when needed.
